Weekly Classes
Overview

Classes at Write Worthy support Christian home schooling families who appreciate instruction presented from a Biblical worldview.

Parents appreciate help with teaching writing and the opportunity for their children to experience learning in a structured classroom -- by a teacher who supports their home school!

Students enjoy fun class activities and love learning with a group of friends.

Parents are guided by weekly assignments for home school lessons and receive regular feedback on their child's progress.

Students experience accountability for assignments and benefit by a professional teacher / third-party to grade writing projects.

Working together, we pursue the highest quality of education, provide instruction that is distinctly Christian, and encourage students toward workmanship that is worthy of their walk with God.

To optimize time spent learning, the content of each class extends well beyond writing. For example:

  • In addition to writing stories, 4th/5th grade students set up a mock publishing company where they experience the publishing process, business skills, assisting other students, and binding their own hard-bound book.

  • In the 5th/6th grade class, students learn Northwest history, reading biographies and writing informative paragraphs based on their lessons.

More still, enrollment in weekly classes includes much more than the classes themselves! Friendships are nurtured and families enjoy special events together throughout the year.
