From Parents

"Three of our children have taken writing and science classes at Write Worthy during the past 3 years, and they have learned a great deal. Not only do they receive great instruction in a weekly class, but having the routine of an outside class and homework builds discipline in a way I can't do at home. My 9-year-old son, was in Telisa's 2nd grade Joyful Writing class last year and learned to write different types of paragraphs. It was hard work! However, this year he is doing his homework more independently and can write a very good paragraph on his own very quickly. We edit it together once or twice and he is done. I am so glad he has learned this skill early on. My children have enjoyed the classes at Write Worthy - they are all interesting." - KS

"Telisa Vale has worked with our home schooled family for over 10 years. Our two oldest daughters, who are now in college, took classes from Telisa while she was teaching at Basic Skills. Both are excellent writers and we give the credit to Telisa's writing classes. Our son, who is now in high school, took writing, science, and history classes at Write Worthy for several years. Our youngest daughter is in her fourth year at Write Worthy and enjoying the writing and science classes. Miss Vale is an A+ teacher for our family!" - MD

"We are very happy with our children's progress in writing this year. You have an excellent reputation in the home schooling community!" -KW

"Thank you so much for helping our daughter grow and learn to understand the steps of writing. She's made huge progress and we are so thankful for your godly teaching and example." - RH

"Thank you so much for all your love and time you give. You have been such a blessing to our family - helping us to stay accountable and teaching the writing skills I could never have done." - LH

"I wanted to thank you so much for the job you are doing with our son. He is really enjoying the class. His writing and attitude about writing have improved 1000%. Thank you for the opportunity of letting him be your student. We look forward to next year." - DC

From Students

"You are the best besides my mom." -CM, 2nd grade

"I just wanted to thank you for all three of the classes I've taken from you. You've taught me so much! This is my first year at Cor Deo Christian, and I really would be lost without what I learned at your classes - how to write good paragraphs, reports, organization, and citing works! I'm always going back to my old Write Worthy notebooks and referring to the handouts you've given me. Thanks for preparing me for high school!" - BW, high school (looking back on Write Worthy)

"Thank you so much for what you taught me this year. I'm especially grateful for your help in writing. Science was a blast. I can't wait till next year." -SF, 6th grade

"Thanks for being a great teacher! I loved making the timeline and the holiday bookmaking class!" - SR, 6th grade

To Miss Vale:
"Patience"
You listen to all
Boy or girl and short or tall
spring, summer, winter, and fall
- CB, 4'8", 2nd grade

"Thanks! If I look at my first paragraph and compare it with one of my other paragraphs I can see I've learned a lot!" -CW, 6th grade

"You're the best teacher in the world." -HK, 3rd grade

"Thank you so very much for everything you have done for me. I know now how important it is to be able to give a strong essay question answer. I have a history teacher who writes very hard essay questions that are worth over half your test score. All my friends talk about what a hard time they have with the essays. But for me answering them is easy thanks to all you taught me. I wish I had realized how important those lessons would be. Thank you so very much. P. S. I am praying for you." -GH, high school (looking back on Write Worthy)
