About Us
The mission of Write Worthy is to support Christian parents as they train their children (Proverbs 22:6). We meet this calling by working in partnership with home schools to assist parents with teaching and inspiring students to write. Together we help young saints learn to write worthy – delighting God in their work, admiring His design of our language, and advancing the Kingdom by becoming able communicators with the written word. Write Worthy was established in 1998 by Telisa Vale, an elementary teacher with a heart for the Lord and a commitment to help home schooling families succeed. As a teacher, Telisa holds a degree in elementary education and has many years of experience teaching children. Her passion for assisting Christian parents led to her work with home schoolers. She has been active in the home school community since 1991 - teaching classes and workshops for children, administering achievement tests, tutoring, and consulting with parents. Instruction at Write Worthy is distinctly Christian, so the classes are best suited for children who have a strong heart for the Lord and delight in seeing God's hand in all aspects of creation. The classes are challenging, as Telisa holds high expectations for children in academics, behavior, and workmanship. Children love to attend Write Worthy classes - enjoying the activities and drawn to Telisa's structured yet fun-loving approach and her genuineness with them. Classes, workshops, and achievement tests are offered in Telisa's home classroom (in the Rock Creek area, near 185th/Hwy 26). She is also available to speak at moms' meetings for home school groups or to teach workshops for children at your location.
